You may recall that last May I spent a month traveling in the Middle East. I visited Jordan, Oman, Israel, and the Occupied Territory in the West Bank.
I promised to share a few stories from that visit, so here they come. These stories were told to me by friends who live in a refugee camp near Bethlehem. Rather than write them out for my readers, I am including a conversation I had with my co-workers at the Christian Forum on Israel-Palestine.
My good friend Rob Dalrymple also visited the Jordan and the West Bank this past July. Together we share our experiences, what we heard, observed, and learned about the changing situation for the Palestinian people living under Israeli rule.
Rob met several refugees from Gaza who shared their horrible accounts of being bombed in their tents and losing loved ones.
I share stories from my friend, Munther Amira, about the ongoing threats against his life by both the Israeli military and the Palestinian security forces.

Please pray for justice to prevail over the terribly unjust circumstancess that now oppress the people of Palestine.
